Almost 2lbs. down

Yup! Almost 2!  Yay!

Now, I’m back to under 200lbs.  20 pounds to go.

After amping up my veggie and fruit intake, and consuming an average of 48+ oz of water a day, my ounces have been coming off faster. (Yeah exercising would help get more off but…) Of course my trips to the ER caused this altering, but it was worth it.  If I keep working on myself then only good things can come afterwards.

2lbs down!!

I’ve been working Mind, Body, and Soul simultaneously for some time now. 

As you can see, I’ve lost 2lbs (That’s within the last week). I’m getting the Body together.

 The Lord and I have been having regular conversations on my life and what I need to do next. I’m getting my soul together.  So, I’m in the process of rebranding myself.  

Lastly,  school has been whooping my tail.  You hear me!  I just finished my Event Planning and Management course.  It solidified it in my mind that event planning is the industry that I would enjoy.  It’s a lot of work but I love being a part of everything, designing, and being a little bossy (lol).  It’s in my nature. I love seeing the smiles on the guests faces when they enter a room.  

We’ll see what happens.  Pray for me! πŸ’‹

21 Day ChallengeΒ 

Hey guys!

For the last 2 weeks, I’ve been doing this challenge called, “Lose your gutt, keep that butt”.  This is the last week and I mean I’m pooped lol.  You hear Me? I feel the difference in my body though but I KNOW I need MORE than 21 days of working out. So far, its been good.  My thighs don’t rub as much.  My “back end” is more rounded.  My clothes are fitting better and I’m slightly a bit more flexible. I just waiting for my stomach to start performing its disappearing act. 

It’s a work in progress I know but I gotta be 2 piece ready before my birthday in August. 

Time for bed.

Health screenings

Ok! Quick, straight to the point…See your doctor for your check ups, tests, and whatever else. 

I can be honest about this, I’m grown.  Before March of THIS YEAR, I cannot tell you the last time I was at the doctor as a patient.  I always intended on going just never took the time to find a reputable doctor that I felt I could trust. *Yes, I had insurance*. I guess I played around with my health because my mom was always there to answer questions (she’s a nurse).  So, I would use her as my “doctor”. Not the same I know but I trust her to guide me in the right direction and I’ve always felt fine thereafter. 

Now, that I’ve moved back out of my parents house and a little farther away than the time before I figured it was time.   It was time to find a doctor close by.  So, in January (even though I moved in October) it was put on me to sit still and locate a doctor.  I found a doc that’s less than 10 minutes away and she’s friggin’ awesome.  It’s a sad shame when you get instantly nervous when you are driving to the office and while you’re waiting to see the doc.  You take my BP it’ll always be raised, slightly.  Doctors can find anything and come to you with the boom! So, I’m comfortable with her and I might as well be because she always all up in my business, literally!(lol)  

I saw her twice in the last month because my first visit, I couldn’t complete the original reason I was there because it was that “time of the month”.  So, she just did the basics (weight, height,  Bp, etc) and drew blood.  I hate needles, but I had to be a soldier.  It took me YEARS to get the courage to do this so I had to take it like a G…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

During my 2nd visit, which was weeks later, she says that I am Vitamin D deficient.  She said that’s more than likely why I was feeling stiff in certain places and had some minor aches/pains in my knees and arms.  It’s no telling how long I’ve been deficient. All my other levels were Ok, so it was some indicator that I was living on a decently healthy diet.  So, she got me on Vitamin D pills to get me back right. Vitamin D is attached to calcium which attacks your bones.  Ummm, not me.  I’m getting this handled.  I’m too young for this jazz.  On top of that, I was there for a Pap Test to check for cancerous cells in my cervix. My doc and I are on a first name basis now….lol, seriously.  If you gone be in my “business” this way, then the highest level of professionalism is out the door.

Today, I get a call from the doc’s office and I know it’s my Pap test results.  I let it go to voicemail.  I was sitting there shaking like a leaf so I was hoping they left the info in my inbox.  My results came back NEGATIVE. Nothing cancerous in sight.  I was nervous for nothing, but it could’ve been something.  If it was something I could’ve known earlier if I had went to the doctor sooner. This gets me to my point.  Get yourself checked out. You might not want to hear the possible outcome of the visit,  BUT wouldn’t you rather know instead of waiting til it’s too late? I’m sure your family would appreciate it.  Yes, I did bring them into it πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Bear Naked

OMG!!! This is GREAT!  I’ve had Bear Naked before but this Maple-licious Pecan flavor is fab-u-lousπŸ’œπŸ’œ.
As you can see in the background picture, I had a nice brunch with my mom and sister.  The mimosas we had are not featured – ha! πŸ˜„  I made (w/ my sister’s assist) SW salad (spinach, mozzarella pearls, SW pico de gallo, and avocado) & Pineapple yogurt boat (half pineapple, greek yogurt, fat free cool whip, strawberries, and granola).  That Granola….πŸ˜‹πŸ˜Š I’m eating it by the handful and I need to stop.   I want to take it to work as a snack.  I’m not sure if it’ll make it to Tuesday 😁.

Definitely go out and buy it (to try it).  I love healthy eating & this’ll be in heavy rotation.
